Our community is comprised of students, alumni, faculty, visiting lecturers, and project partners who bring an exciting range of experiences and perspectives to our program.

Faculty
Students in our program learn from pioneering design professionals and thought leaders. Our faculty members are at the forefront of fields that include: architecture, environmental design, product design, communication design, interaction design, design strategy, design research, cultural anthropology, psychology, industrial systems, organizational development, and business.
Fellows
The Post-graduate Fellowship provides exceptional graduates of the Design for Social Impact program the opportunity to implement and measure the impact of their thesis work as applied within the Philadelphia community.
Students
Our student body is international, and they bring with them a wide variety of experiences and backgrounds, whether business, industrial and graphic design, the humanities and the sciences. What unites our students is a shared passion for understanding the needs of people, communities, and organizations so that a truly human-centered design process can make a difference in the how they live, play, and work.
Featured Alumni
Our alumni follow a range of professional pathways within and beyond design, whether design research, experience and interaction design, design strategy, or other entrepreneurial directions. In addition to starting their own initiatves and design consultancies, our alumni have gone on to work for such organizations as IBM Design, SAP, Electronic Ink, Comcast Interactive Media, andCulture, Control Group, and University of Pennsylvania Health System's Center for Health Care Innovation.
